Solid wooden dog crates handcrafted in the USA. No veneers, pressed wood or MDF panels here! This premium wooden pet furniture uses solid poplar wood. One of the charming characteristics of poplar is the contrast between the heartwood and the sapwood sections of the wood. The heartwood darkens over time and provides a beautiful contrast with the naturally light sapwood sections. A removable, black plastic floor is included.

The solid poplar wooden dog crate does not have a wooden floor - it is open. A standard plastic dog crate pan is included and fits perfectly inside the wood dog crate and easily removes for cleaning. A completely safe, water-based polyurethane satin finish, is sprayed on for a tough, smooth surface with no brush strokes.

Assembly required - you receive a square-head screwdriver and 22 screws for assembly (allow about 10 minutes). The optional BRASS nameplate is 4" wide x 1" tall and is blackened - the scripted engraving reveals the brass for a nice contrast. Nameplate is not mounted so you can choose where to place it on the wooden dog crate.
