The foam pet stairs are lightweight, portable and very stable. Each step is individually fabricated and bonded which allows for very even distribution of your pets weight as they climb up and down the pet stairs. Your foam dog steps will be shipped with a beige shearling fabric cover as shown above.

Please make sure to measure your placement area and be prepared to spend some time with your animal for training purposes. Your pet is only as trainable as your patience level. If your pet seems a little intimidated by the pet steps or just can't figure out how to use them, we recommend placing a treat on each step leading to the bed, couch or windowsill. The one word command STEP, during the training can also be helpful. The dog steps & cat steps should never be placed higher than the furniture they are trying to reach. Flush placement is only recommended for handicapped or elderly pets. It is a pets natural instinct when climbing to keep moving with at least 1 paw up and active at all times. Therefore the dog step should be placed at least 1 step height below the placement area.

NOTE: Skid resistant permanent adhesive back strips are included. They are recommended for smooth surface applications (tile, hardwood, etc.) and are applied to the bottom of the pet stairs. Once strips are applied they are permanent and can not be easily removed.
