Decorative wooden wicker dog crate - deluxe resin rattan crates
Decorative deluxe Wicker Dog Crates with a solid wood frame and resin wicker panels give a genuine rattan dog crate look. Incredibly well designed and built, the door swings both inside and outside and can be mounted to swing either left or right to fit your room layout. Made from a resin-based rattan wicker (rhino-wicker™), this decorative or designer dog crate looks great and does double-duty as a wicker dog house or a wood dog house. The Rhino-wicker™ has all the elegance of rattan wicker, but is much easier to clean than natural rattan wicker. In fact, it won't absorb fluids or odors!
Included with this decorative dog crate is a removable, plastic floor pan that makes cleaning up after your pet much easier. The door has 2 spring-loaded, top/bottom hinge-pins. Simply squeeze the two latches together to easily remove the door if you prefer not to use the decorative dog crate as a designer dog kennel.
Important Note -- is your dog a digger, scratch-er or a chewer? Consider the recommendation below on "how to help prevent damage" to the interior panels of your new decorative dog crate. In addition, you may want to consider the following model -- wooden dog crate -- which was designed specifically to help minimize damage from energetic pets.
Recommendation to prevent damage to panels:
If you think your dog may damage the panels of the wicker dog crate please consider using Plexiglas inserts. We have had customers insert Plexiglas panels on the inside of the wicker crate with very good success (held in place with rope or wire through pre-drilled holes).
Have your local hardware store cut the Plexiglas panels one inch shorter than the interior measurements and only about 12" high. This allows for good air flow while still protecting the resin rattan material. Please call us if you need more details.
